so what's new? I got a job in school dining hall hey~so thurs will be working on salad bar, n dish on e weekends. Going for my first session this afternoon. so hope that it'll not be tiring.

Went to e fencing GIM last night. I love it man! seems interesting and fun. going to sign up for it today. although there are 4 prectices every week, n I have to miss one of them( time clashing with my work on sat:( ), it still be a good way to exercise besides gym. hmm so i'm quite packed this semester, n i'm enjoying it:) like what i said to my roommate, what i need now is a more efficient schedule.

废物再循环 果皮制成肥料

丢丢丢，人们通常把不能食用的水果皮往垃圾桶里丢。但，南洋初级学院的学生却加以收集。这些果皮有什么特殊用途呢？原来南初环保协会将这些水果皮，进一步加工，添加黑糖和水，来制造肥料。这就是环保协会废物循环利用的好创意点子。经过处理后，他们把储放在罐子里的肥料放在一个阴暗的角落，等待发酵。

负责老师刘丽珊说，“我觉得这次的活动对学生来说是个很有意义的活动。第一，是因为他们在做实验的时候，往往会遇到很多问题。在解决问题的时候，可以鼓励他们的创意思维。第二，我觉得这个活动，可以提升他们的环保意识，他们知道环保并不难，只要他们肯动动脑筋，多观察一些事物，就可以想出环保的方法了。”

为了制造出最有效的肥料，他们用了不同种类的水果。经过三个月的发酵后，他们便利用成果为实验植物施肥，并检查它们成长速度，确定肥料的效果。

环保协会会员林耀庆说，“我从这次的活动中学习到怎么去善加地利用那些废物，其实我原以为那些废物都是一些没有用的东西，但是之后，我却把他们当成是宝物。”

这次的环保计划把原本没有价值的果皮制成肥料，提高了果皮的价值，这个计划不但能减少不必要的垃圾也能提倡环保的精神。
